Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information The Low Code Factory collects when you visit thelowcodefactory.com or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is short and plain because our data practices are deliberately simple.
1. Who we are
The Low Code Factory ("TLCF", "we", "our") is an independent enterprise solutions company based in Hyderabad, India, delivering software engineering services worldwide. You can reach us at [email protected] with any question about this policy.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you send us
When you email us, complete a contact form, or request a white paper, we receive whatever you choose to share: typically your name, email address, organization, and a description of the problem you want help with. We use this only to reply to you and to scope a potential engagement.
2.2 Server and request logs
The website is hosted on Vercel. Like most hosts, Vercel automatically logs limited technical data about each request, including IP address, browser user-agent, referrer and timestamps, for security, abuse prevention and basic operational analytics. We do not maintain a separate copy of these logs.
2.3 Fonts and content delivery
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches a font, Google receives a request from your IP address, governed by Google's privacy policy.
2.4 Advertising and measurement, when active
If we run advertising on Meta or a similar platform, we may install a measurement pixel on this site to attribute visits and actions to specific advertisements. When active, such a pixel sets cookies and reports events to the advertising platform. Equivalent disclosures would apply to a LinkedIn Insight Tag or Google Ads were we to add them.
You can opt out of personalised advertising at the platform level through Meta Ad Preferences, Your Online Choices, or your browser's tracking controls.
2.5 What we do not collect
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not use third-party analytics beyond what is described above.
- We do not operate marketing email campaigns or newsletters.
3. How we use information
- Responding to enquiries. Replying to your message or arranging a conversation.
- Delivering our services. Discussing requirements, preparing proposals, and executing engagements.
- Operating the website. Keeping the site available, secure and fast.
- Measuring advertising. Only while a paid campaign is running, and only through the disclosures in section 2.4.
- Complying with the law. Tax records, invoicing, and responding to lawful requests.
4. Sharing and processors
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with the service providers we use to operate the business:
- Vercel Inc. — website hosting and request logs.
- Google LLC — Google Fonts delivery, and storage of contact-form and white-paper submissions in Google Forms and Sheets under our account.
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — advertising measurement and delivery, only while we are actively advertising.
- Email and productivity providers — to receive and store correspondence you send us.
Each processor handles data under its own privacy terms. We use mainstream providers with documented security and data-processing practices.
5. Retention
We keep correspondence and engagement records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and tax obligations, typically up to seven years for accounting records in India. Server logs are retained for a short period by Vercel under their defaults. You may ask us to delete personal correspondence at any time — see section 7.
6. International transfers
TLCF operates from India. Some of our service providers, including Vercel, Google and Meta, store data in the United States and elsewhere. By using the site or contacting us, you understand that your information may be processed in jurisdictions outside your own.
7. Your rights
7.1 Everyone
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it for a specific purpose. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
7.2 If you are in India (DPDPA)
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have rights to access, correction, completion, updation and erasure of your personal data, to grievance redressal, and to nominate someone to exercise your rights in the event of incapacity. Contact us at the address above; we act as the grievance officer for any such request.
7.3 If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom
You have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Our legal basis for processing is typically legitimate interest (responding to your enquiry, operating the site) or consent (for advertising cookies, where present). You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
7.4 If you are in California
You have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise a right, email us; verification may require confirming the address you used to contact us.
8. Cookies
The base website uses only the minimal cookies needed to load fonts and serve content. When advertising pixels are active, as described in section 2.4, additional cookies are set by the platform concerned. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time, and where the law requires it we will present a consent banner before any non-essential cookie is loaded.
9. Security
We use providers with industry-standard security, including TLS in transit and encrypted storage. No system is perfectly secure, so we hold the minimum personal data the work requires.
10. Children
Our services are intended for organizations and the professionals representing them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has shared information with us, email us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, post a notice on the site. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance.
