Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 May 2026
This policy explains what information The Low Code Factory ("TLCF", "we", "our") collects when you visit thelowcodefactory.com or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this short and plain because we are a small studio and our data practices are intentionally simple.
1. Who we are
The Low Code Factory is an independent consulting practice (sole proprietorship) based in Hyderabad, India, providing AI and low-code consulting services worldwide. You can reach us at hello@thelowcodefactory.com for any question about this policy.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you send us
When you email us, fill out a contact form, or book a call, we receive whatever you choose to share — typically your name, email address, company, and a description of the problem you want help with. We use this only to reply to you and scope the engagement.
2.2 Server and request logs
Our website is hosted on Vercel. Like most web hosts, Vercel automatically logs limited technical data about each request — including IP address, browser user-agent, referrer, and timestamps — for security, abuse prevention, and basic operational analytics. We do not maintain a separate copy of these logs.
2.3 Fonts and content delivery
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches a font, Google receives a request from your IP address, governed by Google's privacy policy.
2.4 Advertising and measurement (when active)
If we run ads on Meta (Facebook, Instagram) or similar platforms, we may install a measurement pixel (such as the Meta Pixel) on this site to attribute visits and actions to specific ads. When active, the pixel sets cookies and reports events (page views, button clicks) to the ad platform. Equivalent disclosures apply to LinkedIn Insight Tag and Google Ads if we add them later.
You can opt out of personalised advertising at the platform level using Meta Ad Preferences, Your Online Choices (EU), or your browser's tracking controls.
2.5 What we do not collect
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not use third-party analytics beyond what is described above.
- We do not run our own marketing emails or newsletters (yet).
3. How we use information
- Respond to inquiries. Replying to your email or scoping-call request.
- Deliver our services. Discussing requirements, sending proposals, executing engagements.
- Operate the website. Keeping the site up, secure, and fast (server logs).
- Measure ad performance. Only when we are actively running paid campaigns, and only through the disclosures in §2.4.
- Comply with the law. Tax records, invoicing, responding to lawful requests.
4. Sharing and processors
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with the service providers we use to run TLCF:
- Vercel Inc. — website hosting and request logs.
- Google LLC — Google Fonts delivery.
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — ad measurement and delivery (only when we are actively advertising).
- Email and productivity providers — to receive and store correspondence you send us.
Each processor handles your data under its own privacy terms. We choose mainstream providers with documented security and data-processing practices.
5. Retention
We keep correspondence and engagement records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal/tax obligations (typically up to 7 years for accounting records in India). Server logs are retained for a short period by Vercel per their default. You can ask us to delete personal correspondence at any time — see §7.
6. International transfers
TLCF operates from India; some of our service providers (Vercel, Google, Meta) store data in the United States and elsewhere. By using the site or contacting us, you understand that your information may be processed in jurisdictions outside your own.
7. Your rights
7.1 Everyone
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it for a specific purpose. Email hello@thelowcodefactory.com and we will respond within 30 days.
7.2 If you are in India (DPDPA)
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have rights to access, correction, completion, updation, erasure of your personal data, grievance redressal, and to nominate someone to exercise rights in case of incapacity. Contact us at the email above; we will act as the grievance officer for any request.
7.3 If you are in the European Economic Area or UK (GDPR / UK GDPR)
You have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Our legal basis for processing is typically legitimate interest (responding to your inquiry, operating the site) or consent (for advertising cookies when present). You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
7.4 If you are in California (CCPA / CPRA)
You have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, email us — verification may require confirming the email you used to contact us.
8. Cookies
The base website uses only the minimal cookies needed to load fonts and serve content. When advertising pixels are active (see §2.4), additional cookies are set by Meta or similar platforms. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time, and where required by law, we will surface a consent banner before any non-essential cookies are loaded.
9. Security
We use providers with industry-standard security (TLS in transit, encrypted storage). No system is perfectly secure, so we keep the personal data we hold to the minimum needed for the work.
10. Children
Our services are intended for businesses and the professionals representing them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has shared information with us, email us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, post a notice on the homepage. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance.
